Each year the Federal Planning Division provides financial assistance to students who are pursuing a degree in city and regional planning or a related field. This assistance is offered in the form of scholarships to deserving students at accredited universities.

This year's scholarship recipients were selected from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Faculty from the University of Pennsylvania served as the review and selection panel for the 2007 FPD Design Awards given out at the conference. Three University of Pennsylvania students were each provided with a $2000 scholarship. The three students were: Mr. Stacy Bare, Ms. Faith Cole, and Mr. Jack Conviser.
